It is an estimate. TrackSights calculates the Danish registration tax with the rules for its tax year, using the build decoded from the VIN and the car's estimated value. Motorstyrelsen sets the final amount, and condition or missing equipment data can move it.
TrackSights estimates the Danish registration tax for cars registered in Denmark, and the annual German vehicle tax (Kfz-Steuer) for cars in Germany. The Netherlands is not covered yet. Market prices are available for 13 countries.
TrackSights keeps the Danish registration tax rules per tax year, from 2021 to 2026, so an estimate uses the rules for its tax year.
Comparable cars must share your car's make, model and fuel type and be within two model years of it. TrackSights then ranks them on year, power, trim, listing age, body type, mileage and gearbox, and shows how close each one is as a MatchScore™.
TrackSights combines vehicle build data decoded from the VIN, vehicle register data and used-car listings from 13 European markets, refreshed daily.
TrackSights ApS is a Danish company. We have a data processing agreement, store data primarily in the EU and EEA, and delete customer data after the agreement ends, with a 30-day window to export it first.
